Water, water, EVERYWHERE!

Last month we were learning about rivers. The longest river in Ireland, the River Shannon, starts in Cavan!  We worked together as a class to create a river display and we think it looks amazing....We learned lots of new and tricky words like source, mouth, course, tributary, meander and confluence. We even know what they mean!! We drew pictures and our teacher added them to the display.

While we were learning about rivers, we also learned about the water cycle.  Mrs. Donegan loves to sing and she taught us a song about the water cycle. I think you'll agree we have been very busy in Room 10!
