3d Shapes

We are learning about 3d shapes in Room 10. We know about cubes, cuboids, spheres and cylinders. We also learned about cones and pyramids. We thought it would be fun to make our own 3d shapes. We used matchsticks and blutack to make them and it was really fun.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love was in the air in Room 10 this week! We worked really hard making Valentine's baskets for special people in our lives.

Materials

We have been learning about the properties of materials this month. We did some experiments in class using salt and water or sugar with water. We also experimented with oil and water. Did you know that oil and water do not mix? They are 'immiscible'.We used our knowledge to make lava lamps in class! Mrs. Donegan used a secret ingredient to make the lava bubble.

We had a great day at school today. We watched a pantomime. Everybody laughed and we had such a fun time!
